The City of Cache is great place to live and work. Cache is located in western Comanche County, on the southwest side of the Fort Sill Military Reservation and four miles west of the Lawton city limits. It offers a hometown feel while being close enough to Lawton and Fort Sill to meet your entertainment and professional needs. Cache is also located about four miles south of the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. The population was 2,796 at the 2010 Census. It was named after the nearby West Cache Creek, the town originated following the 1901 land lottery, which opened the Kiowa-Comanche-Apache Reservation to general settlement.
